masculine: pertaining to or characteristic of a man or men.
feminine: pertaining to a woman or girl.

Perhaps it is the post-modernist in me, I am always confused when people use these words. What do they really mean?
It seems to me that any definition someone could come up with that is broad enough to cover an entire gender would be essentially meaningless.
So, I'm asking for feedback...what do people think about these words? What do they think they mean?
